At West Sound Community Church our goals reach well beyond our geographical borders. While we clearly understand that we cannot reach everyone in every nation, we also understand that it is within our grasp to stretch ourselves beyond our comfort zones. We think our Savior seriously had this in mind when he bestowed upon the Church what we've all come to know as the Great Commission:
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20
Taking this commission seriously has compelled us to take part in several missionary endeavors. Some of which are higlighted in this section. Each project you find in this section is a missionary enterprise West Sound Community Church supports through prayer, people, and money. Some of them are officially sponsored by West Sound. Some of them are not. What each of them, however, must be is simple: they must be Christ-centered missions that clearly proclaim--through both word and deed--the life changing message of our Savior.
