Some say that truth is derived from shared values and concerns. They would argue that one's belief system stems from the ties that bind individuals to families, organizations, and communities. This is not true for us. While we share common values and concerns, they are not derived from our shared experiences. Instead, they are derived from eternal truth. It is God's truth that called us into his family. It is the life-changing truth concerning Jesus Christ and all that is related to that truth that binds us together. We are a church firmly committed to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We take our marching orders from him by carefully giving ourselves to the study of his written word, the Bible. As we do so, we find that the very best psychology is biblical theology, the very best self-help program is biblical instruction, and the very best counsel is biblical wisdom.
